The team was sold back to Renault on 18 December 2015. The team achieved a race victory and fourth position in the Formula One Constructors' World Championship in their first season under the Lotus title. Lotus F1 was named after its branding partner Group Lotus. The Lotus F1 Team was majority owned by Genii Capital. The team competed under the Lotus name from 2012 until 2015, following the renaming of the former Renault team based at Enstone in Oxfordshire. Lotus F1 Team was a British Formula One racing team.

For example I want to replace the Lotus Renault's sound, so I will open the rar file and go to Renault folder. Giving some General Instruction so that people dont get confused on how to install it as some people are not getting the audio in gameĢ. The sound is mind blowing and music to my ears man. To use the sound mod for another team, you'll have to use the "replace sound" option in Content Manager. You can't put a sound bank file in the folder of a team with a different name than the file's. (make a backup of the old folder if you want) To install the mod, go to your steam directory, then assettocorsa/content/cars/the_name_of_the_car/ and overwrite the sfx folder that's already there with the one provided. I tried to get the distinct features of each engine right, from the smooth sounding Ferrari engine to the deafening Lotus-Renault engine. The pack contains files for Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, and Lotus-Renault engines, which should cover the whole 2011 grid well enough. YES I know the 2010 cars didn't have blown diffusers, at the time when I started work on the mod there were no 2011 F1 cars available for Assetto Corsa. This is a sound mod pack which aims to recreate the sound of the 2011 engines.
